Had the most divine time slipping behind the velvet curtain at the House of Craft opening yes, the Dior ateliers were open and whispering secrets, and no, I didn’t behave.
From scandalous silhouettes, I devoured the lectures, the workshops, and the quiet genius in the room (even if the soundtrack was giving… corporate lobby).
Got to chat with some brilliant designers about the actual revolution in fashion, the kind where rule-breaking isn’t punished, it’s praised.
Remember when fashion was subversive and the wild ones were crowned geniuses? Yeah. Let’s bring that back. Obedience is so last season.
The highlight? A stunning photographic exhibition by Brigitte Niedermair, whose 12-year affair with the House of Dior is on full display. She reimagines Christian Dior and his six successors (Saint Laurent hive rise up 🖤)
It’s a masterclass in legacy, craftsmanship, and creative audacity, a reminder that couture isn’t just wearable art, it’s rebellion sewn in silk.
Here’s a peek at my favorite behind-the-scenes moments. Who’s your Dior era? Galliano chaos or Raf Simons minimalism?
